Day 1 – Arrival

Day 2 – Arenal – (L)
- The Mambo Combo - Make the most of your limited vacation time! Combine the exciting Lost Canyon Adventures Canyoneering and Rafting on the Beautiful Río Balsa – For a full-day of pure adrenaline… you’ll get to rappel, down-climb amazing waterfalls and river trace along a pristine, rainforest canyon and then go rafting on the beautiful class 2-3 Río Balsa. This is the perfect blend of whitewater and wildlife, fun, rolling rapids and vibrant jungle. We guarantee more wildlife than any other rafting trip in Costa Rica! You’ll finish off this fun-filled day with a delicious lunch.
Day 3 – Arenal
- Horseback to La Fortuna Waterfall - Get spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano and the green countryside as you travel by horseback to the 140-foot Río Fortuna waterfall. Then take a 20-minute hike to the river to cool off in the rushing waters beneath the waterfall.
- Sky Tram / SkyTrek - Sky Trek starts with a tour in the Sky Tram to reach the top of the Arenal reserve, then begins a tour of adventure full of adrenaline above the treetops, which consists on a system of zip lines, that allows you to observe the rainforest and its landscape from a different perspective, safely in an innovative and different system. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 1.7 miles with distances from 100 to 2460 feet, and with a maximum height of 660 feet, which exceed the treetops providing a panoramic view of the Arenal volcano and lake.
Day 4 – Arenal – Manuel Antonio – (optional Lunch Stop)

- Tarcoles River Bridge – During the long journey from Arenal to Manuel Antonio, We have arranged for a couple stops along the way to help break the trip up a little. The first is the Tarcoles River bridge, home of many Crocodiles some up to 6 meters in length. This is a stop to stretch your legs, take some nice photos and be on the road again (15 – 20 minute stop)
- Lunch Time - After your encounter with the Crocs at the Tarcoles River I have arranged for a lunch stop. You will briefly visit the busy town of Jaco. A surfing town and the most developed beach town, it is home to some of the countries finest restaurants. You will enjoy a discount as one of our clients at a variety of restaurants. Take a few minutes after lunch to walk around town, or jump in your transport for the next destination Manuel Antonio

- Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour – Your guide will take you through the world renowned Manuel Antonio Park. This informative hike will teach you about the complexity of the rain forest while pointing out many species of birds, mammals, reptiles, flora & fauna. Enjoy the 3 pristine white sand beaches within Manuel Antonio Park and marvel at the rainforest that surrounds you. Beware, Capuchin Monkeys can be thieves

- Mangrove Boat Tour - Let our world-class, highly trained, bilingual guides and naturalists steer you peacefully and comfortably in our high-tech, ultra-quiet estuary boats as the wildlife comes to you – sometimes right into the boat! Experience curious families of monkeys as they migrate across the mangrove ecosystem – which includes your boat – in search of food and adventure. And discover the secret ways different exotic trees of Costa Rica replenish the environment worldwide, yet sustain themselves for decades of growth. Wind through acres of a protected, pristine Costa Rican estuary as your experienced guides educate you on the secrets – both past and present – of the mangrove eco-structure so vital to Costa Rica and the world as well. And don’t forget to point out the caimans, sloths, crocodiles, stunning rainbow boas, white face monkeys, egrets, and so many more species of wildlife, as your boat leisurely winds its way through the mangrove channels along the gentle currents of the coastal tides.
