Safari Float - This completely relaxing float trip takes you on the beautiful Río Peñas Blancas where you're bound to spot tropical birds, monkeys, poison dart frogs, and more! The Safari Float starts in the Peñas Blancas River about 20 minutes away from La Fortuna.We are on a raft for approximately 2 hours. While rowing our way down the river, our guide will share important information about species of flora and fauna. After a while we take a short brake to explore primary rain forest and enjoy a snack.
Day 3 – Arenal – (L,D)
Don Carlos Authentic Costa Rican Finca We start out with a visit to a local farm to learn about rural life in Costa Rica and have a leisurely walk through their private reserve to see an amazing collection of tropical birds, other wildlife and natural organic gardens. Small snack.
Lost Canyon Waterfall Take a fun 4x4 ride up a country road – at the top of the canyon, we hike down to the base of one of the largest waterfalls in the Northern Zone
All You Can Eat Delicious Homemade Lunch We then hike back up about 20 minutes to enjoy a delicious home made lunch with vegetarian options available.
Visit and Hike the Arenal Volcano This tour would not be complete without a visit to the Arenal Volcano to do an easy-going hike along the base of this active volcano
Natural Volcanic Hot Springs Now’s the time to relax in a series of hot springs with swim-up bars and isolated areas pools and waterfalls
Dinner at the hot springs This rounds out a perfect day in Costa Rica – enjoy!
Day 4 – Arenal – Manuel Antonio – (optional Lunch Stop)

Tarcoles River Bridge – During the long journey from Arenal to Manuel Antonio, We can arrange for a couple stops along the way to help break the trip up a little. The first is the Tarcoles River bridge, home of many Crocodiles some up to 6 meters in length. This is a stop to stretch your legs, take some nice photos and be on the road again (15 – 20 minute stop)

Lunch Time - After your encounter with the Crocs at the Tarcoles River we can arrange for a lunch stop. You will briefly visit the busy town of Jaco or the surrounding area. A surfing town and the most developed beach town, it is home to some of the countries finest restaurants. You will enjoy a discount as one of C.R. Referrals clients. Take a few minutes after lunch to walk around town, or jump in your transport for the next destination Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio Park Guided Tour – Your guide will take you through the world renowned Manuel Antonio Park. This informative hike will teach you about the complexity of the rain forest while pointing out many species of birds, mammals, reptiles, flora & fauna. Enjoy the 3 pristine white sand beaches within Manuel Antonio Park and marvel at the rainforest that surrounds you. Beware, Capuchin Monkeys can be thieves
