We would like to introduce you to Amanda Mason who will be taking care of all our guests’ fitness needs while in Costa Rica.  Amanda graduated from Indiana University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Minor in Public Health.
Her experience includes the central United States and Costa Rica including areas of personal and group training, fitness classes, sports specific training, health promotions, wellness education, rehabilitation, health management and patient care.  Amanda loves what she does while helping people achieve their physical goals and will help guests tackle any mental obstacles that are holding them back.

Fitness means different things to different people so we have created a diverse range of programs and options to appeal to a wide range of people.  Whether you just want to tone up a little and feel better or take your fitness to the next level we will work with you while you are here to put you on the path to achieving your goals.
We can put together a vacation package for you based on your specific needs or you are welcome to add any of the fitness classes and programs to your vacation.  Amanda offers SurfFIT classes for surf specific training and Beach Fitness which includes timed Body Rock type workouts and TRXStand Up Paddling is another great way to get in shape and you get the side benefit of a nice tan with your workout.  SUP is great for core fitness, cardio and toning.  Contact us at with more information regarding the classes and schedule.
For those that are ready to take their fitness to the next level Amanda offers Personal Fitness Coaching.  It is a great methodology that is perfect for those who are trying to lose a substantial amount of weight, training for an event or just want to push themselves beyond their current limits.  We can create an inclusive PFC package tailored to your specific needs while on vacation or we are happy to arrange a personal training program once you are here.
The PFC methodology works as both a personal trainer and a coach in one.  The personal training happens here over the course of your vacation.  When you return home you work on your own with Amanda continuing to coach you with virtual check-ins.  This will make you accountable for your goals and give you access to your coach for any questions you might have.  In the coaching phase Amanda’s job is to keep you accountable, to challenge and motivate you and to get you to your goal and achieve a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
